Saving Halloween
Turning disaster into something weirdly nice
Bought a sad pumpkin for the kids on a trip two weekends ago to carve for Halloween. Sad because aparently there was so little rain this summer they didn't grow much and were touched by fungus all over. At least that's what the slightly drunk farmer told me and my daughter.
TLDR: Never buy a pumpkin and bring it in a house full of kids.
It fell off the table and cracked diagonally and caused a tantrum with the kids and a fight with the missus because I said I can't fix it. I was tired. It turns out you can. Here's what i did. Had fun too and the kids loved it!
